Management system policy

LUGplast d.o.o. has implemented, maintains and improves a quality and environmental management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

In the course of our waste management activity we are committed to:

• protecting the environment by preventing or mitigating adverse environmental impacts;
• mitigating the potentially adverse effects of environmental conditions and climate change on the organisation and on our services;
• fulfilling compliance obligations;
• improving environmental performance;
• overseeing how the organisation’s services are developed and delivered using a life-cycle perspective, which can contribute to better management of environmental aspects and emissions within the life cycle;
• achieving financial and operational benefits that can result from implementing sound environmental alternatives that strengthen the organisation’s market position;
• continuously improving relationships with customers, suppliers and other interested parties;
• a commitment to environmental protection, including pollution prevention;
• the continual improvement of the quality and environmental management system.

Our strategic objective is an annual reduction in measurable environmental impacts, including those defined using appropriate performance indicators, and each year we will define, apply and monitor specific and measurable quality and environmental objectives consistent with that strategic objective. We will review and assess the annual objectives separately during management review of the system by senior management.

Application of this Policy is mandatory for all our workers and the workers of contractors. We have ensured that the Policy is available to all workers and other persons working under the organisation’s control, and have published it to interested parties through our website.
